About this Vendor:

My journey began one day in my high school gym. My teammate and I were discussing the upcoming school dance. She began to share her concerns about her body image and how she did not think she was pretty enough to attend. I immediately knew I wanted to make a difference. Social media plays a big part in the self-consciousness of many of today’s youth. Eighty-five percent of young girls feel pressured to look like an “IG Model.” My passion for helping others immediately sparked an idea. Love Your Melanin was created to provide quality products that stimulate self-confidence and promote self-care for all skin types. I want to encourage everyone to feel gorgeous and glamorous in their own skin. I live by my motto, “Know yourself, Love yourself, Be yourself.”
